- Non-Runner to 3:28 Marathon
- RRCA Certified
- 2x Boston Qualifier
- 2 Years on Team Run4PRs!
Swimming was actually my first love, I started competing at the age of 9. I was a two
time New York State Champion and Runner Up in my junior and senior years of high
school. I competed at the Division 1 level at East Carolina University where I
captured a Conference USA title, multiple schools records, and helped lead ECU to a
Team Conference USA title.
I remained active and pursued my group fitness and spinning certifications after
college, but my true love is competing. Running fuels my competitive nature and is
something I can share with my three children.
I decided I was going to run a marathon after the birth of my third child as it had
been a bucket list item. That goal became a reality 13 months after my son was born.
Throughout the training process and since then, I have been able to discover just
how much I am truly capable of physically and mentally through the sport of
running. We are always stronger than we think!
In my time as a runner I have been driven to achieve personal bests in all distances,
resulting in 2 Boston Marathon qualifying times. Coaching other runners in
achieving their personal running goals is my way of giving back the sport which has
giving me endless inspiration and a sense of community.
If you are looking for a new beginning or don’t know where to start, I invite you to
