“I was able to run the 3rd fastest 50 mile in the US in 2016 because of Coach Jacobs.Β  Ben provided structure to my training and inspired me to push myself to train for ultra marathons competitively after not running consistently for years. His personalized training plans made workouts interesting and not copied/pasted like other plans you see on in magazines or on the internet.”Β

Athlete spotlight on Laura! Laura CRUSHED the Celebration Marathon setting almost a 20 min PR from her last marathon 3 months ago. She even negative split the race- running 9:42 pace the first 13.1 then running the last 13.1 @ 9:30 pace!! I got the text alert of her finish during my morning run, and I almost cried I was so happy for her! She totally deserved this race with all the hard work she put in over the last few months.
Laura and I started working together shortly after her last marathon in October. She had big goals of running 4:15, and I knew right away she had the potential to do it! It was amazing to watch her break through physical & mental barriers during training. She put in a lot of hard work & trusted the training. It paid off for her, and I am so happy for her!! In addition to training & crushing marathons Laura is a working mom! She is such an inspiration to all! Congrats on the huge PR! Sky is the limit! Cannot wait to see what is next for you!

Kayla is a mom of 3 young kiddos who is relatively new to the sport! She ran her first marathon in 2016 in 4:35! She came back for more in 2017!! Despite high humidity & temps in the 70s, she just SMASHED her second marathon! She set a 23 min PR this morning! Congrats 🍾 Kayla! The first of many break through race to come

Sadie Paradise

Sadie came to us 1.5 years ago with 2 marathons under her belt & a 5:55 marathon PR and 2:40 half PR. Her long term “dream goal” was a sub 5 hour marathon- a 55 min PR! She worked HARD for it. It was a goal that took 3 more marathons to achieve.
September 2015- 5:27 πŸ’₯ 18 min PR
June 2015- 5:15 πŸ’₯ 12 min PR
August 2015- 4:56 πŸ’₯ 19 min PR
Every single one of her marathons was 70+ degrees. She fought HARD for all her progress and never gave up!! Her 4:56 PR was ran during the Paavo Mavi marathon thus August as a training run leading up to her ultra. She became a marathon maniac in the process & completed her first TRAIL ULTRA last September. Sadie took some well deserved time off from racing & now she is gearing back up for Grandmas Full marathon in June. Shooting for sub 4:30!! We are exited to see you continue to progress & smash new PRs! #run4prs

Greg started running in April 2015 at the age of 53! We have been working together the entire time! His first 5k was a run/walk in 49 min! He crossed the finish line of his SECOND full marathon in Disney & snagged a 28 min PR at the age of 55 during the dopey challenge. I’m sure it’s the first of many big PRs to come. Congrats Greg! Keep up the great work

Melissa Mills

Melissa CRUSHED her first ever marathon today running 3:57!!! I am SO amazed and proud of her accomplishments in the last year. Simply incredible. Melissa and I began working together 11 months ago. At the time, she had a 2 year old 2:07 half PR, and she just wanted to break through it! The journey started with that one simple goal. She had been stuck around the 2:10 range for years & wanted to try something new with her training. After 4-5 months of training together, she busted through with a shiny new PR of 1:51!
A few weeks later, she decided to take the plunge to train her first marathon. I would be lying if I said we had the “perfect” marathon training cycle. Training for a marathon over the holidays can be tricky but despite any of those obstacles she always fought & put in the work! Most importantly she believed in herself & trusted her training. It’s been amazing to watch her transform as a runner & I definitely got a little teary eyed when I was tracking her β€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ always believe in yourself!!!!
